Reassigning microchips (for breeders or rescues)

To transfer a microchip, you need to have an account that allows you to do so. If you only have a pet owner account, you can only update your own contact information.
If you plan on registering multiple microchips over time, we recommend that you apply for a breeder or rescue account. This type of account gives your organization the ability to transfer microchips to new owners. That way, you can easily reassign microchips to the new owners without any issues.
