Microchip Ownership Transfer

If your email is registered in the Insight Microchips database for a microchip and you wish to transfer ownership, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email from the email address registered with your Insight Microchips account to [email protected].
2. Include the following details in your email:
   • Microchip Number: The 15-digit number starting with '900'.
   • New Owner’s Full Name
   • New Owner’s Email Address
   • New Owner’s Contact Number and Postal Address
   • Animal’s Updated Name (if applicable).

Once we receive your email, we will process your request and provide confirmation. This process typically takes up to two business days.

To register a microchip under your name, send us an email to [email protected] to request the online registration form.

Important: Before completing the form, ensure you have the 15-digit microchip number and proof of ownership documents ready. These will be required when submitting the form but are not needed for the request.
