Microchip Ownership Transfer

If your email is registered in the Insight Microchips database for a microchip and you wish to transfer ownership, please follow these steps:

1. Send an email from the email address registered with your Insight Microchips account to [email protected].
2. Include the following details in your email:
   • Microchip Number: The 15-digit number starting with '900'.
   • New Owner’s Full Name
   • New Owner’s Email Address
   • New Owner’s Contact Number and Postal Address
   • Animal’s Updated Name (if applicable).

Once we receive your email, we will process your request and provide confirmation. This process typically takes up to two business days.

To register a microchip under your name, send us an email to [email protected] to request the online registration form.

Important: Before completing the form, ensure you have the 15-digit microchip number and proof of ownership documents ready. Please note that microchip registration is an administrative record only and should not be relied on as conclusive proof of legal ownership.
